Your Cart

If the standard doors are in stock, you can simply add them to your cart and proceed with the purchase. However, if you need a Custom door, please take a moment to carefully read the following information.

Step 1: Measure the Rough Opening

Accurate measurements of the rough opening are crucial. Measure the height and width at the top, middle, and bottom of the opening, using the smallest measurements for both dimensions. Precision in measuring ensures a proper fit for your custom door.

OR

Determine the Door Dimensions

Using the measurements of the rough opening, calculate the dimensions of the door. For example, if the rough opening is 80 inches high and 30 inches wide, you will need a door that is 78.5 inches high and 29.5 inches wide to allow for necessary clearance.

Step 2: Choose Between Slab or Pre-hung Door

If you opt for a pre-hung door, accurately measure the wall thickness. The door jamb must cover the thickness of the wall, so select the correct size accordingly. The most common sizes for 2x4 framing are 4-5/8", and for 2x6 framing, it is 6-5/8". Confirm if you require casing as well.
